Ancient civilisations: absence and inexistence are not the same

Ancient civilisations occupy an important place in several of Bruno Courtin's novels.

Egypt, the Sphinx, the pyramids, Göbekli Tepe, the Indus Valley, Nazca, Tiwanaku, ancient China, the Amazon and oceanic civilisations are not used to impose the idea of a single mother civilisation.

On the contrary, these references remind us that each people possesses its own genius, its own answers, its own memories.

Ancient civilisations do not prove the existence of a hidden people. They rather show that our history is incomplete, fragile, and that we have often confused the absence of traces with the absence of existence.
